Smart features: AI, transcription and translation

Yonora's messages, calls, photos, videos, documents, contacts and account details are never sent to an AI service automatically. Only the content you specifically choose to use with a smart feature leaves your device, and only for that one request:

• Assistant, smart replies, summarise and rewrite — the text you submit is sent to Yonora's own server (a Supabase Edge Function we operate) and from there to Anthropic (Claude), which generates the reply.
• Voice note transcription — only the voice note you tap to transcribe is sent to Yonora's own server and from there to OpenAI.
• Message translation — only the message being translated is sent to Google Translate.
• AI images — if you ask Yonora to generate an image, only the description you type is sent to Pollinations.ai, which creates the picture. Nothing from your chats is sent with it.

Your name, phone number, contact list and message history are not sent with any of these requests. The content is used only to fulfil that request. It is not used for advertising, is not used to train AI models, and is never sold. Every third party we share content with is contractually bound to use it solely to fulfil that request and to provide the same or equal protection for it as this policy does.

These features are off until you agree to them. Yonora asks for your permission before the first such request is made, names the provider at that moment, and you can withdraw permission at any time in Settings → Privacy → Smart features, which stops all of these requests immediately.
